Guide Supports and Services
Screenings are crucial tools in identifying a child's unique needs. These screenings do not result in a diagnosis but can describe some of the child's strengths and challenges, enabling parents, educators, and healthcare providers to develop targeted interventions and determine if further evaluation is necessary. Screenings can also be helpful when an update of current functioning is needed for continued therapeutic intervention and insurance coverage. Available screenings include:

-
Adaptive Skills: Abilities that enable a child to carry out daily activities and interact effectively with others.
-
Executive Functioning: Cognitive processes that help a child plan, organize, manage time, and regulate behavior which can often be affected by ADHD.
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD): A developmental disorder that affects communication, behavior, and social interactions.
